One of the cities we wanted to visit in China during our first month was Guilin. We have read quite a lot about this city and decided to change our plan a bit and instead of going straight to Hong Kong, take a little detour and give it a try.

It turned out to be the most touristy spot in China! The entrance to most of the local parks was almost 10 Euro, the prices in local little restaurants were horrendous comparing to other spots we visited before and we did not feel well at all! We stayed there for a short time and enjoyed just ordinary things – did not spend even a single Yuan for the “attractions”.

We took our own paths and discovered quite a lot of interesting places – free of charge!

That´s it! Next stop – Hong Kong!
