Cycling from Alice Springs to Kings Canyon was not easy due to the heat and lack of water, but we have made it safely. Kings Canyon is situated within a National Park, which means wild camping was out of the question and we had to spend one night on the only official campsite available - only 20 AUD per person for an unpowered tent site… At least we could leave our bikes at the reception the next day to go for a hike around Kings Canyon.
